One day, Sal was in his house. He then went downstairs to the kitchen to get a snack. On the counter, there was a strange object. It looked just like a glass of water, but it wasn’t one. All of a sudden, it started shaking. It got bigger and bigger, changed color, and took the shape of a small, furry, blue monster. “Uhh… hi?” Sal was really scared of this creature, even though it was smaller than his forearm! ” What are you,” Sal asked. “I am a shapeshifting monster. My name is Pal.” Suddenly, Sal’s mom unlocked the front door. Pal jumped into Sal’s arms to hide and started a friendship for many years to come.
